The 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards was a night to remember honoring the most-played tracks and artists across all iHeartRadio stations at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on March 22. The famed event was hosted by rapper, LL Cool J.
9th Annual iHeartRadio Music Awards
This year was the ninth installment of the annual awards show with performances by Megan Thee Stallion, John Legend, Charlie Puth, among many others.
Each winner is determined by the fans who have voted online or through social media for categories such as Best Lyrics, Best Cover Song and Best Music Video. Two new categories for this year were TikTok Songwriter of the Year and Best Comeback Album.

Jennifer Lopez was awarded the 2022 iHeartRadio Icon Award, Olivia Rodrigo won Female Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration went to The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber for their song "Stay" and Dua Lipa took home Song of the Year for her single "Levitating."
